ECS E-Mail Settings
Basic Settingsmail.ecsis.net Outgoing Mail Server *SMTP*
Outlook Express1. Open Outlook Express and get past any error messages there might be. 2. Click on the Tools menu and select Accounts... 3. Click on the Mail tab. 4. In the box under the Accounts column, double-click on the account that is for your e-mail. 5. Click on the Servers tab. 6. Type this next to Outgoing mail (SMTP): smtp.ecsis.net 7. Type this next to Incoming mail (POP3): mail.ecsis.net 8. Click OK at the bottom of the properties box. 9. Click Close at the bottom of the Internet Accounts box. 10. Now, the next time you check for mail it should work fine.
Internet Mail1. Open Internet Mail and get past any error messages there might be.2. Click on the Mail menu and select Options... 3. Click on the Server tab. 4. Type this next to Outgoing Mail (SMTP): smtp.ecsis.net 5. Type this next to Incoming Mail (POP3): mail.ecsis.net 6. Click OK at the bottom of the Options box. 7. Now, the next time you check for mail it should work fine. Microsoft Exchange
1. Open Microsoft Exchange and get past any error messages there might be. 2. Click on the Tools menu and select Services... 3. In the Services box click on Internet Mail and click the Properties button. 4. Type this next to Internet Mail server: mail.ecsis.net 5. Click on the Advanced Options... button. 6. Type this under where is says Forward all outbound mail to the following
7. Click OK in the Advanced Options box. 8. Click OK at the bottom of the Internet Mail box. 9. Click OK at the bottom of the Services box. 10. Close Microsoft Exchange and open it again. 11. Now, the next time you check for mail it should work fine. Netscape Messenger
1. Open Netscape Messenger and get past any error messages there might be. 2. Click on the Edit menu and select Preferences... 3. Under the Mail & Newsgroups Category select Mail Servers. 4. Type this next to Outgoing mail (SMTP) server: smtp.ecsis.net 5. Do not type anything next to Outgoing mail server user name: 6. Under Incoming Mail Servers, click on the account that is for your e-mail and click the Edit... button. 7. Type this next to Server Name: mail.ecsis.net 8. Next to Server Type: select POP3 Server from the dropdown list. 9. Next to User Name: type your account name. 10. Click OK at the bottom of the Mail Server Properties box. 11. Click OK at the bottom of the Preferences box. 12. Now, the next time you check for mail it should work fine. Eudora 31. Open Eudora and get past any error messages there might be.2. Click on the Tools menu and select Options... 3. Click on the Getting Started Category. 4. In the POP account: box type in your user name followed by
5. In the Return address: box type in your e-mail address. 6. Click on the Sending Mail Category. 7. Type this next to SMTP server: smtp.ecsis.net 8. Click OK at the bottom of the Options box. 9.
