PUPPY CHOW Combine 1-12oz. package of semi-sweet chocolate chips 8oz creamy peanut butter 1 stick of margarine Melt these first three items in microwave. Pour over one box of graham cereal 7 gently toss fully coating cereal. Sprinkle 1 lb. of powder sugar over and gently toss. Store in air tight container and enjoy as snack.

Sugar-Free Chocolate Pie 1 box sugar-free milk choc. pudding 1 box sugar-free white choc. pudding 1 low sugar Cool Whip 1 graham cracker crust Mix puddings according to pkgs. directions (separately) Mix 1 cup of the cool whip with dark chocolate pudding Put in graham cracker crust. Pour white chocolate pudding on top of dark. Then put cool whip on top. Put in fridge until chilled. This is good especially for diabetics.

NEIMAN MARCUS COOKIES (Recipe may be halved) 2 cups butter 4 cups flour 2 tsp. soda 2 cups sugar 5 cups blended oatmeal *** 24 oz. chocolate chips 2 cups brown sugar 1 tsp. salt 1 8 oz. Hershey Bar (grated) 4 eggs 2 tsp. baking powder 2 tsp. vanilla 3 cups chopped nuts (your choice) *** Measure oatmeal and blend in a blender to a fine powder. Cream the butter and both sugars. Add eggs and vanilla, mix together with flour,oatmeal, salt, baking powder, and soda. Add chocolate chips, Hershey Bar and nuts. Roll into balls and place two inches apart on a cookie sheet. Bake for 10 minutes at 375 degrees. Makes 112

Wonderful Cabbage Soup 1 med. size head of cabbage 3 carrots, cut in bite size pieces 3 stalks celery, cut in bite size pieces 4 small new potatoes or 2 med. regular red potatoes, diced 1 med. onion, diced 2 large cans of tomato juice 1 Tbl. oregano 1 Tbl. basil 1 bay leaf 1 Tbl. salt (optional) 1/2 tsp. pepper Pour the tomato juice into any large pot and add enough water to you liking. (The tomato juice I buy is kind of thick). Add the carrots, celery, potatoes, onion and spices, and bring to a boil. Lower heat and simmer 30 to 45 min. or until vegies are almost tender. Cut cabbage into bite size pices and add. Simmer another 10 min or until cabbage is tender. (The tomato juice is the key to the wonderful tast of this soup. Just making this soup in water or chicken stock won t get it). Enjoy Richard

Autumn Soup 1 lb. ground beef 1 cup chopped onion 4 cups water 1 cup cut-up carrots 1 cup diced celery 1 cup cubed pared potatoes 2 teas. salt 1 teas. bottled brown bouquet sauce 1/4 teas. pepper 1 bay leaf 1/4 teas. basil 6 tomatoes* In a large pot, cook and stir meat until brown. Drain off fat. Cook and stir onions with meat until onions are tender, about 5 min. Stir in remaining ingr. except tomatoes heat to boiling. Reduce heat cover and simmer 20 min.. Add tomatoes cover and simmer 10 min. longer or until vegies are tender. *1 can (28 oz.) tomatoes (with liquid) can be substituted for the fresh tomatoes. If using canned tomatoes: Reduce water to 3 cups Stir in tomatoes with remaining ingr. heat to boiling. Reduce heat cover and simmer 20 min. Great soup Enjoy RichardW
