1 Angel food cake 1 large can cherry pie filling 1 bowl cool whip 1 box cream cheese 2 to 3 tsp. sugar Cut angel food cake in peices place in long dish. Mix cool whip, cream cheese and sugar together add enough milk to make creamy. Put a layer of cake on the bottom of the dish spread cream cheese mixture on top of cake place some cherries on top of the cream cheese mixture. Put 2 layers spread rest of the mixture on top and spread the cherries on top... chill for about 2 hours before serving. This is a quick and easy dessert.

Hot Fudge Sundae Cake 1 cup of flour (if you use self-rising flour, omit baking powder) 3/4 cup of sugar 2 tablespoons of cocoa 2 teaspoons of baking powder 1/4 tsp. salt 1 tsp. vanilla 1 cup chopped nuts (can be omitted) 1 cup brown sugar 1/4 cup cocoa 1 3/4 cup hot tap water Heat oven to 350 degrees. In an ungreased 8 or 9 inch pan, stir in flour, granulated sugar, 2 tsp. cocoa, salt, (baking powder if used), then add 1/2 cup of milk, 2 tablespoons of oil, and vanilla. Stir all this with a fork till smooth. Add nuts if desired. Spread evenly in pan. Sprinkle brown sugar, and 1/4 cup of cocoa on top of mixture. Then pour 1 3/4 cups of hot tap water across the top of the batter. Do not Stir!!! Bake at 40 minutes or til center is done. Let stand for 15 minutes before serving. Don't overcook because the water makes a sauce in the bottom. You can serve this with vanilla ice cream, with cool whip and a cherry on top.

Cherry Delight 1 8 oz. cream cheese 1 8 oz. cool whip l cup sugar 1 can Cherry Pie Filling l cup nuts 2 graham cracker crusts Mix cream cheese and sugar well. Add cool whip. Line bottom of crusts with chopped nuts. Put mixture in pie crusts and top with Cherry Pie Filling. (Delicious) I take this dish to church dinners and there is never any leftover.

P'nut Buter Pie submitted: Dessert, snacks Recipe

This is D.H.S. 's students favorite dessert. 1- 16 oz. box powdered sugar 1 cup peanut butter 1- ready made graham cracker pie crust 1 large box of instant chocolate pudding & pie filling (made to package directions) 1 large container of thawed cool whip Mix powdered sugar and peanut butter together. Sprinkle 1/3 of this sugar mixture on your pie crust. Next add prepared pie filling on top of sugar mixture. Sprinkle 1/3 more of sugar mixture on top of pie filling Mound cool-whip on top of pie and sprinkle the rest of the sugar mixture on top of pie. Refridgate at least 1 hour. I hope you enjoy this as much as the students at Dyersburg High School.

1 Pkg Rottini noodles 1 large tomatoe 1 large bell pepper 1 small onion 1 small bottle of Kraft Zesty Italian Dressing Parmesan Cheese, Salt & Pepper to taste Boil noodles chop vegetables add to noodles add Dressing (you can let this marinate over night or serve right away) top with Parmesan, Salt & Pepper and serve.

These recipes were selected by the students following several research sessions on the Internet. Each student picked a country they were interested in, conducted research on the cuisine of that country, selected a recipe, wrote a brief description of their country and included the recipe. The resulting recipe book was collated and produced by Mrs. Lee's Fifth grade class and completed in March, 1998. This webpage presents the recipes collected by the class. International Recipes Mrs. Lee's Fifth Grade Summersville R-2 Elementary - 1998 Marcus McNally - Germany Weiner Schnitzel Ingredients: 2 pounds veal steak 1 egg, beaten bread crumbs lemon juice pepper Directions: Veal should be about 1/2 inch thick and cut into serving portions. Season with salt and pepper. Dip pieces in bread crumbs, then into beaten egg, and again in bread crumbs. Let stand in refrigerator for awhile before cooking. Brown in hot fat on both sides, cover and simmer for 30 minutes. Sprinkle with lemon juice. The site can be found at:
