Missy really accomplished a lot in her life time! She has a wonderful, large family, and a large family that she met online all across the world. She started her Journal so that she could not only tell of her day to day struggle with living with Cancer, but to help others, as well. People were drawn to her site, drawn to her...me because I felt such love and peace everywhere on the site. In her journal, the prayer pages, everywhere! Talking to her made me feel very good inside...she wouldn't let anyone be teary-eyed with her...I think a LOT on some of the things she said, some of the things we talked about, and I hold it all close within my heart. We talked of flowers, candles, sharing stories, hopes, dreams, dogs, and so much more....we enjoyed just talking and laughing together. I have a lot of memories and cherish each and every one of them.

It wasn't in Missy to just stop trying, to admit defeat! She did things that are truly remarkable, yet, knowing Missy, they are really HER more than remarkable. I share all of this with you, because it makes me feel good talking about Missy! There are people who never met her, and there are lots of us out here that want very much to share our thoughts and feelings with you. I've met a lot of people in my life, but none with the strength that Missy had.

Hundreds of people around the world were led to "Missy's Online Journal", which went online November 1996. Hundreds of candles all across the Internet lit her path, and now, these same candles will be here to light the path for others in need.

6 June 1998 It's been a year ago today that Missy left this Earth to become an Angel in Heaven, and although she is so very sorely missed, I know that we are all happy for her that she's no longer suffering. She went through a long hard battle and now she is resting and watching over all of us! I'll always love you little Miss Sunshine!

You are so very much missed, Missy! Thank you for putting your website up online so that we could get the chance to meet and to know you!

I've always heard that everything happens for a reason. We may not SEE the reason for a long time, if ever. Missy, you brought a lot of people together that never would have met if not for you!

This second week of July 1997, I SEE the reason that I was led to some very special people, who I have grown to love very much! These beautiful people are family, and Missy, I will never stop thanking you. I feel like I was being prepared for something ahead of time, and if not for all of these beautiful people in my life I don't know what I would do! Sassy, Cindy, Sandy, Jeff, Cathi, Jeanne, Sharron, and ALL the rest of you...I love you dearly! The love of Missy brought us together, and together we stay!
