Many thanks to the people who work so hard to come up with new programs for us all to enjoy! Without people who design html editors, graphic programs, and so on and so on, there wouldn't be any way that this site would exist!

Listed below are some of the programs that are used to design this site.

Macromedia Dreamweaver is a fantastic page designer! I have really enjoyed getting acquainted with it, but believe me, there are many, many things about it that I have yet to learn! This is not a simple little program....its full of exciting surprises, with people constantly coming up with new enhancements for it! I feel like I've died and gone to Heaven! *giggling* Try the demo! :) Download the tutorials...this isn't an overly hard program to learn but its not easy either! Its definately not a weenie! Its so full of coolness that you will definately want to learn as much about it as you can! Some of the things it does are to create the coding automatically for rollover images, lets you put links into a "map" saving you from having to have another program to do that for you, sets up a "style sheet" within the program saving you from having to get another program to do your style sheet...plus so much more! Just take my word for it, that if you want to design web sites the easy way this is one of the most terrific gems you can have to do it with!

Net Objects Fusion is another fantastic web site designing program that I've been getting use to. It is THE program for designing business web sites! I'll be working on my other domain pretty soon and will be using it....it's NOT just for business sites, though! I just love Dreamweaver and want to use it too, so I will compromise...Dreamweaver for this domain and Fusion for the other! *blushing* I love working with it...you don't have to worry over linking to all of your pages because it does it for you. It even puts the text on your headers and buttons for you. Talk about getting SPOILED rotten, it can sure spoil you! Try the demo and see what you think! Its BIG but lasts for 30 days.

Paint Shop Pro is a fantastic program! I've been using this program for over four years now, and although I use other programs to design with, I'll never let go of this gem! Used with special filters designed by other parties, the possibilities are endless in what you can create! They also have a demo you can download to test drive it! Version 7 beta 1, at the time of this jabbering of mine, has just this past week been added to JASC site. It has some super nice new features, the new filters they added are really awesome!

Ulead PhotoImpact 5 is another gem of a graphics program! This site's graphics are designed with this wonderful program now! Once you get use to the way it operates, you will do fine with it and have fun with all of the bells and whistles it includes! Talk about an easy method of making web page graphics! Wowza! It comes with Ulead animation program, page curl in several ways, particle and all kinds of other cool filters plus you can still link to all of your other filters that you love to use....if you want to use your other filters though, you will want to make smaller folders for your filters and link to them that way. It gives you plenty of spaces to link to several different folders! I have one folder for my Photo Shop filters, one for Ulead filters, one for PSP filters, PSP filters 2, etc. At first I had a link to ALL of my filters which are in one large directory, PI refused to budge, it would come up and immediately crash, so I had to edit the dll in Windows, so be CAREFUL not to let too many filters get into one folder! Trust me though, you won't NEED all those filters! Go download that demo and see what I am talking about! *smiling big* They put up a nice collection of extra goodies for you to download every month to further enhance your graphics fun!

Micrografx Picture Publisher 8 is SUPER! I've had so much fun with it! Download the demo, try it out and I bet you'll be wanting the program too! I have "Webtricity II"....it has Simply 3D and of course the Picture Publisher 8 and other programs with it. You'll get six CDs full of lucious goodies!

The Gimp is a terrific program for designing graphics for Unix and XWindows users! It isn't fancy like others, but let me tell you something...its FANTASTIC! There is a special download for people who use Windows 98 operating systems so that they can put it on their hard drive, this is the one that I have. Like I said, it's not fancy, but it sure is powerful...its right up there at the top! There are a bunch of awesome looking Themes that you can get for your Gimp desktop....I've not yet figured out how to make everything work yet so that I can use them though, so it all just sits on my windows desktop when I'm working with Gimp! hehe!

Adobe Photoshop is another gem that I use to design graphics with. When I got version 4 I didn't give it much of a chance...nothing that I was use to from PSP was where I felt it should be and I just really didn't take the time with it. Well, when I bought version 5 upgrade, I started really giving it more of a chance and visited some tutorial sites which I've never done with any other graphics program. It is a great program, and it is becoming more comfortable now the more I've used it!

Hemera Photo Objects come in several different sizes and prices. I have the new 50,000 image collection as well as the Holidays collection. These images are all ready to insert into whatever you want to stick them in! Or stick them directly onto your web page, whatever! At any rate, however you decide that you want to use them, they are already transparent, saving you literally hundreds of hours of work! Its like PSP tubes on steriods! hehe!

I'll be listing other things here later on...I'm forever downloading demos and reading about what all is out there and what it does! I've started a nice collection since I realized what all I was missing out on by sticking to the same-oh-same-oh programs! Since then I've been in design heaven! *giggling*
