Nicholas, 7 years old, Emily, 6 years old and Thomas, 3 years old were murdered by their mother. She used a prescription medication to put her three children to sleep. She then put them to bed , then suffocated them by placing her one hand over the mouth and then pinching the nose of each child as they slept until they died.

Marilyn Lemak, 41 years old was charged with murder and was charged with three counts of first degree murder. At this time she has been found mentally incompetent to stand trial.

Abuse...it's horrible that a child has to suffer at the hands of those who are suppose to love them. Abuse hurts...I can tell you that for a fact, and it's wrong for any child to be mentally or physically abused. Children are murdered every day by their own parents...what kind of people does it take to do that? People who have NO business whatsoever having a child in the first place, for starters!

For crying out loud...if you have a child and are abusing that innocent one, go get HELP for yourself! Give the child up to someone who will treat the child right and love that child! Do something, anything, but keep your HANDS off that child! If you are so filled with anger inside, find an outlet for it, get help, but don't take it out on a child! Look at the size of that child, now look at YOU...hey, how would you feel in the reverse? "Well I was abused as a kid" you say....well HECK fire! So were a lot of us out here but we didn't abuse OUR kids because we were! No, we remembered what it was like, how it felt, and we love our kids enough to sit back and THINK before acting on anything regarding them!

Believe me, that child loves you, but they won't EVER forget what has happened to them at the hands of someone hurting them in any way. Fear is not what should be in a child's life...dread of the abuser, dread seeing the abuser, I don't care if it's parent or whoever, fear isn't love! Fear isn't respect...

I hear now and then of how a child is "missing"....parents get on tv, in newspapers, etc., crying about their missing child, and it sometimes turns out that they did their own child damage enough to kill it. I remember two such incidences in West Tennessee a few years back. And doggone it if they don't most times end up pleading temporary insanity or something and get OFF with  a little slap on the wrist and councelling! Is that right??? I remember too, how a family was driving through our town, stayed in a hotel and they put the youngest child in a drawer to sleep. The child was killed for crying I believe...anyhow the child was the only one of the four who was regularly abused....The other three children were put into loving foster homes to keep them safe. I don't recall how that case ended up, I don't know who in town has the children, but I hope and I pray that the parents don't have them back! I hear of kids being COOKED to clean the devil out of them. I hear all kinds of things...bad things...things no child should ever have to experience!
