The Sheriff's Office currently has 21 personnel of which 12 are sworn
positions.
Correctional deputies, communications, records, bookkeeping and kitchen
staff comprise the remainder of the staff. The Sheriff's Office is responsible for warrant, service,
civil process, court security, jail operation, as well as patrol and
investigations outside the corporate areas of the county. Lake County has
a population of approximately 7,500.
