Our third grade class worked together on an Indian project. We received a grant from the state and we were rewarded with classroom computers and software. This project is an ongoing task that we will work on each year. Every grade is taking part. Our part included stories about the Reelfoot Indians in our area. Each student typed a page in our booklet and illustrated their story. We also built an Indian hut which is a replica of the home in which the Indians lived.
